Jobs only earned a salary of $1 per year when he served as CEO of Apple. However, he also held 5.426 million shares in Apple stock worth $2.1 billion and 138 million shares in Disney worth $4.4 billion. According to Forbes, Jobs’s net wealth in 2010 was estimated at $8.3 billion, which ranked him as the 42nd wealthiest American.
