On this day, April 27th, in 2003, the award winning actress, Halle Berry, threw in the towel and filed for divorce from her husband Eric Benét. Their marital problems were growing mountain high due to Benét’s alleged multiple affairs outside of the marriage. This is reportedly Berry’s second divorce and hopefully her last.
A couple months after the divorce, the bitter Benét fought against the ex-couple’s prenuptial agreement. He demanded reimbursement for his legal bills and he expected spousal support. The matter was settled and Berry did not have to pay anything.
