On this day, October 3rd, in 2011, Sprint, a competing wireless carrier in the U.S., is rumored for shelling out $20 billion to Apple for exclusive rights to the iPhone 5. For the next four years Sprint is claimed to own all the rights to the iPhone 5 and its sales.
