J.K. Rowling announces the publication date of the last Harry Potter book.

Post-Potter Depression- a temporary depression usually caused by anxiety after one has seen or read a chronicle of Harry Potter and awaits the next series. Side effects may vary.

Harry Potter began as a series of fantasy novels, then later gained further notoriety through a widely popular film series. With seven books and eight films, the series tells the story of a young wizard named Harry Potter who goes to Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry, where he refines his craft and goes on a number of adventures.

On this day, February 1, in 2007, J.K. Rowling announces the publication date of the last Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. The book took Rowling approximately a year to write. It has been translated into 67 languages and it sold over two million copies on the first day it was released, July 21, 2007. The seventh film to the series was split into two parts, Deathly Hallows: Part 1 and 2, because it is the densest book with the most twist and turns. Producers decided that two parts to the movie is adequate for a complete finale. Also, an eighth movie would increase profit in theater box offices and DVDs.
