Paul Allen’s Interval Licensing LLC sues Google, Apple, Ebay, Facebook and other companies for patent infringement

Suing one power company such as Google may seem difficult due to the power and amount of wealth the company has, but now imagine attempting to sue over a handful of companies with similar amount of power. That is exactly what Paul Allen did.

On August 29th 2010, Paul Allen’s Interval Licensing LLC sued Google, Apple, Ebay, Facebook and other companies for patent infringement. This patent infringement was due to technology that was used for the web specifically web browsing and alerts online.

The companies responses ranged from not caring about the law suit and taking it lightly to actually being concerned because it might be a bigger issue.
