In that time, he amassed a long list of accomplishments, including: A World Series championship, World Series MVP honors, 12 All Star appearances, 10 golden glove awards and 3 National League MVP awards. As is often the case with baseball’s greats, one of Schmidt’s most notable accomplishments came because of his home run hitting capabilities.
