Mick Fleetwood, drummer for Fleetwood Mac, files for personal bankruptcy due to a party lifestyle and a cocaine addiction.

Being the inspiration for his own band name, Mick Fleetwood seemed to be at the top of his game during the rock and roll era. He was such a good drummer and musician in general that he was added to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1998. With such a good involvement in the music industry many did not expect what was to come.

On May 1st 1984, Mick Fleetwood, drummer for Fleetwood Mac, filed for personal bankruptcy due to a party lifestyle and a cocaine addiction. Mick estimated that on his cocaine addiction alone he spend nearly $8 million and the rest of his money on real estate investments that never paid off.

Luckily, with time Mick Fleetwood was able to get back on his feet as soon and get rid of the cocaine addiction. He also had a band reunion tour in the 90’s that helped him out financially.
