I Love Lucy show is still relevant today as it was nearly 40 years ago. The show has been translated in over a dozen of other languages and is still being aired to date. Ranking 2nd on the TV guides list of television’s greatest shows and having won 5 Emmy awards it is no wonder why people still watch this show on television.
On May 6th 1967, Beloved American television show “I Love Lucy” had its last show on CBS after running for six years. Yet Lucy was not off the television for good, after “I Love Lucy” had their last show they started up The Lucille Ball- Desi Arnaz Show, which lasted an additional three seasons.
Nonetheless nothing could compare to those first 6 seasons under the show title “I Love Lucy”. Her quirky antics and crazy ideas are what made the show so appealing and funny to the audience.
