The Academy Awards are a time to enjoy and relax while watching who wins what award and who was so close to almost winning. There are always behind the scene actions going on at such events. So happens that actor Dudley Moore and his soon to be wife Nicole Rothschild were partaking in behind the scene actions themselves, but not so much to manage the event.
On March 21st 1994, Dudley Moore was arrested in Los Angeles for allegedly hitting his fiancé and soon-to-be fourth wife, Nicole Rothschild. This all occurred backstage at the Academy Awards a month prior to their wedding date. Apparently this was not sign enough for Nicole Rothschild to not marry the actor because later on they eventually married.
Three years later in 1997 Nicole Rothschild filed for divorce claiming that he would physically abuse her. Nicole Rothschild should have applied the idea, that if it starts off wrong it will most likely end up wrong.
