With 111 Emmy Award nominations, the show Cheers that aired on NBC for 11 seasons was probably a must watch show during the time it aired. Like any other show that is on air for multiple seasons ratings and the amount of audience a show receives goes down.
On March 20th 1993, the 274th and final episode of the comedy show “Cheers” aired on NBC. The idea that the show was finally coming to an end had not really sunk into the mind of many actors and even for some of the audience for that matter.
The comedy show will remain one of the longest running shows on NBC and reruns of the show will keep its memory intact for those of younger generations to know what Cheers was.
