NBC stops airing two TV game shows, “Scattegories” and “Scrabble.”

The TV game show Scattegories was based on the board game and the same went for the TV game show Scrabble. Scattegories had the set up of men vs. women, battle of the sexes type of game. As for scrabble it was a one on one game where the contestants played the game digitally.

On June 11th 1993, NBC stops airing two TV game shows, “Scattegories” and “Scrabble.” It was seen as unexpected seeing as Scattergories had only began in January of that same year and with a host such as Dick Clark it would have been expected to succeed. As for Scrabble it has years running since around 1984 with a three-year break from 1990 to 1993.

Basically both shows started up in January 1993 and by June NBC decided to stop airing both of them. These were two of the last daytime game shows that NBC would be airing.
